Terms and conditions 2024

These terms and conditions apply to agreements between MH Breeding, as stallion owner and the owner or representative of a mare, regarding the purchase and the delivery of semen.

Definitions:

​Mare Owner: The owner/representative of the mare. 

Cover agreement: The agreement between MH Breeding and the mare owner, regarding the payment and delivery.
Non-pregnant mare: mare that is not fertilized at the end of the season (October 2024). Written proof of veterinary is obliged.
Stud Fee: Studfee in 2024 is €1495. Ex. tax and delivery.

Fixed costs: Costs incurred to collect semen, research, process, certification and preparation for distribution.

Delivery costs: Costs for delivery of semen by courier. All transport costs for delivery are for the mare owner.

Delivery We will send the semen after a written order (filling out the form on the website) and total payment.

Breeding conditions

  • MHbreeding supplies PRE certified semen . 

  • The mare owner has taken note of the payment and general terms and conditions and has agreed to them.

  • Delivery after payment of total costs

  • Frozen semen is available all year round

  • The mare owner informs MH breeding when the mare is in foal.

  • If the mare is sold during the breeding season, the ex-mare owner remains obliged to pay the stud fee at all times.

  • The certificate of breeding and the transfer to the respective breeding organisation will only take place once all costs have been paid.

  • We aim to deliver the semen at the specified time. Place your order at least # days in advance.
     

 Order and delivery procedure

  • The delivery costs (depending on your location) must be paid before hand. You will receive an invoice for by mail with a payment request.

  • Frozen semen can be ordered at any time. The order concerns 5 straws.

Stud fee and additional costs

Stud fee is €1495 in 2024. Courier transport costs are always at the expense of the mare owner.

With ordering semen the mare owner declares to have taken notice of these conditions and declares to fully agree with all stud- and payment conditions as well as the stud fees.

General conditions

  • Semen are available for Europe and UK only

  • The semen may not be passed on to third parties or used for other mares.
    They will not receive a breeding license.

  • Frozen semen should only be used for artificial insemination.
